Skiing Has started

Eastern skiing is starting up. The northeast has resorts open and even New Jersey Has gotten some snow. Mountain Creek is poised to start making snow when the wonderful Mother Nature give us the temperatures. One of my Favorite place Whistler has opened with a fresh 2 feet of snow.

Whistler and Blackcomb are also getting ready for the 2010 Olympic Games with added snow making and Luge, Bobsled and other facilities under construction. So plan now to be in Whistler in 2010. One of the great things about this resort is no need for a car. Fly into Vancouver and take the bus right to the Village at Whistler.

From the eastern U.S.A. take a direct flight to Vancouver. It is almost as convenient as going north by car from NYC. Skiing the North East will help you get into ski shape for a great destination resort vacation. If you live in the Mid Atlantic state and want to get some great skiing or snowboarding try out Mt. Creek with the East's largest terrain park at South.

Be Fit For a Great Ski,Snowboard Season

Be Ready For best Season Ever

Be Ready For best Season Ever!
Be ready for the best Ski Season ever, ski like you never skied before. And now is the time to make that happen. After skiing more than a third of the year, more than a hundred and twenty times, I think I can offer some advice on how to ski more often and ski better.

Some years are remembered as better than others, but not for the snow fall necessarily but for the growth as a skier that made the biggest impact on me. The best years have been the seasons that I was in the best shape as I could be before the season starts. Are you going to be in the shape and condition that you need to be when it counts? Conditioning for skiing and snowboarding takes dedication to a routine.

Everyday that we don't ski we need to be doing a conditioning exercise. One of the best things I did to improve my conditioning was quite simple, I changed my office chair for a balance ball. You know the exercise balls many used in a Yoga class. Sitting and moving on the exercise ball helps strengthen your core. The core muscle are vital to a high level of skiing. Another great piece of equipment is the Bean ( as seen on T. V. ) Just hanging out while watching T. V. or listening to a Tele-seminar, you will work your core into shape.

Keeping active all year round will contribute to your personal health and wellness. When working out or just out skiing or snowboarding, remember to stay hydrated. When our body is properly hydrated we can stave off fatigue and injury. Making the most out of a ski vacation without getting tired and have you miss out on some great runs.

Winter sports take on other needs that many people over look when they are planning a snowboarding or skiing weekend or vacation. Nutrition and rest play an important part in our enjoyment of winter sports. Eating right and drinking enough water will lead to better fun in the winter sun. Remember if you are thirsty, you are already dehydrated. Staying properly hydrated will also help you stay warm when out in the cold, your body needs enough water to function the way it was designed too.

So with good health and wellness all sports will be more enjoyable. Increasing your awareness of balance will improve your snowboarding and skiing. Using a balance board like "Vew-Do" or "Bongo-board" will help you become more sensitive to the small balancing moves, that will have direct results in your riding.

The better fitness you bring to the game the better game you bring. So now that you're committed to being fit, the next step is learning the right moves. How our body moves while gliding down a mountainside can be graceful or not. Skiing can have the feeling of flying. Are you going to be in the best skiing shape that you deserve to be or not? It is your choice. Have the best ski season ever, now you know what you have to do.
